Twin Parenting Blogs You Should Read (Even though they are written by Moms)

Joe Rawlinson by Joe Rawlinson - May 5, 2015

Because there is so much information out there for parents of twins, I want to point you in the right direction to find great articles to help you in your twin journey.

Twin Parenting Blogs

Here are several twin parenting blogs that you should read. Yes, they are written by moms but they tend to focus more on the practical nature of raising twins which we as dads worry about the most.

Twiniversity

Natalie Diaz started twiniversity.com because she saw a gap in quality information for parents of twins and multiples. Her site now offers a plethora of articles into the real world aspects of the twin pregnancy and raising twins. The site also occasionally has posts from dads sharing their perspective as well.

Look for articles that talk about how your wife is feeling and what is going through her mind at different stages of the pregnancy. This will help you know how to handle the situation even if you can’t get that straight from your spouse.

How Do You Do It?

The team at hdydi.com help answer that question you’ve likely received as a parent of twins, “how do you do it?” Articles here give a peak into the day to day realities of having and raising twins.

You’ll also find a weekly link roundup of articles across the web that offers insights into particular parenting issues you are facing right now.

Twin Talk Blog

Meredith at twintalkblog.com hosts birth stories from twin moms and other articles that really detail the day in the life of a twin parent.

You’ll find a wide variety of experiences having and raising twins here. This site is great at giving you a breadth of possibilities you might experience with your twins.

Dr. Joan Friedman

Dr. Joan Friedman offers a very unique perspective on twins. As a mother of fraternal twins, and an identical twin herself, she offers great insights into raising twins on her joanafriedmanphd.com blog.

You’ll find many articles that will help as your twins get older and psychological perspectives on why twins do what they do.

Twin Pregnancy And Beyond

Kellie at twin-pregnancy-and-beyond.com hosts a deep archive of resources for parents of twins. These include real-world examples of what to expect during pregnancy, delivery, and raising twins.

This site does a great job including stories, videos, and pictures from other parents of twins so you’ll get good perspective on the possibilities with your twins.
